My students are asking for these two novel sets. These texts have the capability to shape how our kids view themselves and build relationships. Not only can I build their independent reading stamina and critical thinking but we can expand their perspective in learning every day lessons. As a teacher I have the responsibility to make sure my students are engaging in texts that have meaning in their everyday lives and will expand their world view. My project is very important because what I put in front of my students really matters! My students will be doing novel studies and this will enhance their critical thinking skills and ensure their engagement in their reading.
