They challenge adversity to thrive in every obstacle they face. Through the tough instillation of a growth mindset, my students have begun looking beyond their time at this school towards a future of success and promise. At a small school in East San Jose, where over 80% of students qualify for a free lunch and over 60% are classified as English Language Learners, my leaders are working hard thanks to the combined efforts of parents, teachers, and students.
