I have been a teacher for 11 years and I am now the K-2 Dean at Gate City Charter Academy in Greensboro. My goal is to create a student-centered wing with my teachers feeling empowered to be creative and think outside the box for resources for their classroom. In return, with the teachers having autonomy, that will create an environment of engaged and high-level of instruction and learning.
