Coming into a new grade with very limited AR books for my students at their reading level is a disadvantage for them. Every quarter our school awards a special celebration for students who meet their AR goal. Theses books would be greatly appreciated by my students (and future ones to come) because they would have a range of books at their specific reading level. They would feel successful and accomplished for meeting their AR goal EVERY quarter if we have books in our class library! This project will make a difference for my students because they will have a variety of books at their individual reading level. This will also help them achieve their quarterly AR goal and keep them hungry for more interesting books to read!! I want them to enjoy and love the simple pleasure of reading a book.
