My students are between the ages of six and seven and come from various backgrounds. The school is a Title I school. Many students receive free or reduced rate lunch and breakfast. There are also many students who receive backpack food on the weekend. Although many students face challenges day to day, they want to learn and are ready to try their best each day! They are growing and learning in the same small, tight knit, school community that inspired me to be a teacher. They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet.
