Empty bookshelves are a sad thing to find in a classroom. Ranging from 2nd - 5th grade reading levels, we need a wide selection of novels to choose from! We need a wide variety of reading levels to mirror the varying abilities in our class. We also need a wide variety of topics to interest all of my students. The text sets I have chosen for my students are guaranteed to grab their attention and increase their love of reading. Classics like Stone Fox, Matilda, and Charlotte's Web will hook my struggling readers while Wonder, Esperanza Rising, and Tuck Everlasting will stretch my more advanced readers.
