I am so excited to get started in the classroom with my 8th and 6th graders. The only problem we are running into is with technology. There is so much I am looking forward to doing with them that is center related and differentiated, but I have no technology within the classroom to help me achieve this. There is a computer lab that is available for rent next door, but this takes the purpose out of centers, especially when you only need tech for two or three of them. Most of my colleagues have carts that have Chromebooks available to them for their use, or they have bought their own tech. I do not have the resources yet to start building my collection of portable technology. It is becoming increasingly harder to keep history interesting to these tech savvy students. It becomes even harder when you don't have the resources available that can assist. Help me keep history alive for these students!
