Having the set of white boards, word work activities and books on CDs will allow for different structures of learning in my classroom. On way they will be used is as a reading and writing centers. My ELL students will be able to follow along with stories while listening to the words, which help them learn and understand how to say, read, and spell the words. This will help the reading fluency of my students. The word work activities and white boards will allow my students to work in small groups to complete language activities and build their language and writing skills. My project will make a difference because, as I said before, these students are English Language Learners. Our classrooms do have the time allocated to provide the necessary time to meet their needs as English Language learners. This grant will help to close that gap just a little bit more.
