My learners live in a small town. Many do not have technology at home. We want to explore the world and grow as individuals. With the Chromebooks, we can become readers, researchers, and writers - learning about the world and sharing our thoughts with others. We have pen pals set up around the world. I want them to see maps, pictures, current events. I want them to share with people their passions and how they intend to make the world a better place using online tools. The Chromebooks will also give learners opportunities to grow as individuals. They can use math programs at THEIR level, read materials interesting to THEM, write and share with whom THEY chose.
