My students benefit from access to cameras to film a variety of projects across grade levels. 6th graders complete a unit on the problem-solving process and showcase learning through creating a video troubleshooting basic computer problems. 7th graders write reviews on a favorite book or movie and then create a book or movie trailer to go along with the review. 8th graders learn about videography in-depth by completing a variety of projects that teach the basics of storytelling and focuses on camera techniques to create creative and compelling content for a variety of audiences. The 8th grade finishes their unit with a focus on journalism and broadcast news.
