I am requesting a small library of professional texts related to small group instruction in Literacy and Math. Our school library has very few text aimed for teachers to use to engage in professional learning. Our professional library will be expanded so students and other teachers will benefit from the knowledge gained from the texts. By purchasing guided reading and guided math texts, I will be able to find strategies to engage my students in intentional small group instruction. I have asked for double copies to create a community of learners. Developing a PLC will engage staff in supporting student achievement and improving professional learning.
