My classroom is redefining success! My scholars have a mild to moderate learning disability which enables them to look at the world with a different lens. The traditional high school scholar defines his/her success by their college acceptance. My scholars define success by how prepared they are to enter the workforce. In my classroom scholars learn both soft and hard business and entrepreneurship skills to prepare them to enter the workforce upon graduation. My scholars use novels and stories to determine the cultural competence of the character as it relates to 21st Century social and political norms.
