This project will make an impact on my students by allowing them to focus on their learning, rather than their sensory needs. With traditional seating, students are often out of their seat and moving around in order to gain the needed sensory input from being active. Flexible seating meets students' needs to be active and move around. They are able to stay at their seat to focus on their learning. Flexible stools and cushions allow students to move around while they are still sitting at their seat. This allows students to work and remain engaged without any distractions to themselves or others.
