In order for students to become fluent readers they must have the ability to read evryday and read what interests them. My classroom library doesn't offer this opportunity. My classroom library doesn't have a variety of books for students to choose from. It is limited with different series, fiction and nonfiction books. During each unit students are struggling to find books that are based on the unit of study and that interest them. I am requesting some books to add to my classroom library in order to provide students with better oppoortunity to become fluent readers. Students will have the opportunity to choose books that interest them and expose to different genres.
