My students often complain about sitting for too long and not getting enough exercise. They suggested that we exercise during instruction. One student constantly bounces in his chair and stated that he was exercising. This sparked the idea to "bounce" why we learn. This will impact my students learning by allowing them to not only focus, but become healthier individuals. My students need 28 Physio Gymnic balls to replace chairs so students will be able to get their wiggles out while getting exercise all day long. Michigan winters can be very difficult to get enough exercise with the short days, cold weather, and deep snow. I am looking forward to seeing my students exercise all day long. This is also important because my students can not play in their neighborhoods safely.
