I am hoping that the use of fitbit activity trackers will motivate the kids even more to be active at school and transfer that desire to move when they get home. I plan on having one student per group wear one each day. We will keep track of their activity and the teams will have friendly competitions. One student per week will be responsible for distributing and collecting the trackers. Because of the way their use will be set up, they will learn lifeskills such as responsibility and sharing. By documenting it in numerous ways, we will practice different math strategies.
