Thank you for visiting my page. I am seeking funding so my 5th grade class can take advantage of the benefits of having a listening center. Studies have shown that having a listening center helps to develop critical listening skills which is used when questions are read to students during state assessments. It is also beneficial when students are introduced to a new topic/vocabulary since it serves to model pronunciation. My ELL & ESE students can also benefit from this tool since they would be able to go back to the reading without feeling out of place or embarrassed.
