"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn"-Ben Franklin. English Language Learners within my classroom learn best by "doing" science. This lab engages them to model how insolation affects climate, seasons, and weather through a self-design lab. Having the materials for students allows them to not only conduct hands-on activities, they also perform a minds-on lab. The given materials also incorporate technology to visualize an interactive of insolation in a classroom where technology is limited. This project will improve their school lives by giving them a new style of learning, which is self-design modeling.
