Many students here do not have technology at home and learning how to use it is vital to a successful lifelong career. My students have a high chance of dropping out due to poverty and lack of resources. Keeping them excited about learning and loving school gives my students a fighting chance to stay in school and go to College! Some ways we would use the iPad in the classroom would be to get on Reading Raz, a website that allows books to be read to the students. Another way would be a math website called Reasoning Mind which allows students to learn new concepts earning points for games and brain breaks for the students to optimize their success in school (being excited)!
