My students have often expressed their desire to be more active throughout the course of their school day, while also maintaining their work load and being successful learners. Flexible seating allows students, not only the opportunity to get up and out of their plastic chairs, but it gives them an opportunity for choice. Choice in their seating, gives them ownership over their school day, which empowers them to learn more. Students can stay active while they learn with flexible seating options that allow their brains to focus better and choices to maintain engagement. Students will feel more engaged and empowered, while also working on core strength and balance with this variety of flexible seating options.
