At first glance, this project may appear inconsequential, but these items will help foster a more effective learning environment in an age where kids are no longer engaged in a traditional classroom comprised of desks, chairs, textbooks, and pencils. Speakers, keyboards, and carts may not sound thrilling to you, but they can mean the difference between reaching only a few lucky students sitting closest to classroom activities, or ensuring that every child has an equally enjoyable and effective learning experience. In today's 21st century classroom, teachers rely on a wide range of educational approaches and devices to help foster rigorous and relevant instructional environments. As such, they require supplies and equipment that aren't always included in cash-strapped school districts. By helping to fund these "basic" items, you are making a difference in our classroom on a daily basis, with far reaching results.
