LEGO bricks and other building blocks have been an essential part of every early childhood classroom for many years. Students enjoy playing with LEGO bricks while they increase skills in logic, fine motor, gross motor, planning, creativity, cognitive development, and many other important skills. The bigger DUPLO LEGO blocks are more easily accessible to children with motor delays and other special needs while the classic sets allow for a greater challenge for little fingers. LEGO bricks are some of the best toys young children can play with. I would love to have a classroom where children can enjoy using their imaginations to build amazing things!
