These pencil sharpeners will shorten the amount of time students spend preparing for the day, and increase time to build relationships with peers, which will indefinitely help our classroom environment. It will also give them more time to work on carefully planned activities that extend off of their learning before the day has even started! Students need this extra time to connect with their peers and their teacher. In addition, the wall sharpener in my room is often too hard for students of this age to use - they struggle to get their pencils sharpened at all. This sharpener will save us so much time and hassle!
