My students attend a Title I school and many lack the resources to fulfill their need for a creative outlet. Our Calligraphy Club provides just that. We learn modern calligraphy, faux calligraphy, hand lettering and more, allowing students to learn a new skill and explore their artistic nature. Many students crave an escape from the hustle and bustle and a safe space to be creative and artistic, and so I provide that for them. Together, we hone our skills and develop confidence and friendships as we refine our craft. Lending a hand to fund this project will allow us to expand our creativity and even produce projects to beautify our campus, as well as the homes of our students.
