We are very fortunate to have technology in our classroom. We have 4 iPads and 7 Chrome Books. My students enjoy using many instructional websites. I have requested headphones in the past as a supply and found they are either not brought in or ear buds are purchased. Ear buds are not only too big but they also tangle very easily, left to be ripped apart by frustrated little people! I have purchased many (cheap) headphones myself for my classroom and none have survived! I am requesting headphones in hopes to have a quality set that will enhance the use of the instructional websites the kids love. Many of the sites play songs and it can be distracting to others when they can hear them. The extra noise in general is distracting. I have requested 24 pairs because I can have up to 24 students and my kiddos are little-its easiest and more special if they have a pair assigned to them and only them to use! I also requested 4 splitters so I am able to use the technology in groups and students can listen together. My littles deserve these headphones and they will be put to good use!
