Our public school, which recently opened, serves a population of 52% English as Second Language Learners and 80% of our students receive free/reduced lunch. I teach kindergarten to creative, eager learners who have little materials at home. Because the school is new, we are just building a relationship with parents and the community to help support our students learning in and outside of the classroom. I am often looking for ways to link the classroom activities with home and community volunteers.

About my class
