My students are children with special needs who have a wide range of ability levels. One thing they all have in common is their ability to navigate technology. These students have more success learning with the applications available to support their emerging skills. They are able to find different ways to make connections with the information they are trying to learn. Every single student learns differently. Through the use of technology students are also able to participate with their peers in their general education classroom. I have students who can use speech to text apps to help them with writing. There are apps that can help with math skills and concepts, The list is endless as well as the opportunities for these kids.
