Since the whole school, pre-k to 6th, share a computer lab, it is hard to get in there for a good amount of time. Having these tablets available in the classroom will be amazing. We can use them in small groups to make sure all students will achieve or to enrich our higher students. A major issue we have is that not all of our students have internet or a computer/tablet at home to access our online programs. We have a minimum target of 90 min a week. Therefore, if I could have tablets in the class then when these students finish early, they can get on them to do their homework program. I have done plenty of research and found a few extra activities and apps that I think will reach my students for small group reteaching. We do not have any computers, besides the teacher computer, in the classroom, so I would not be able to utilize these unless we had other means.
