The table with chairs will be used as a station during our reading block, stations changing throughout the week. The big chairs will be used in our listening station. Students will be reading along with a book on tape to help them grow with their fluency and to get exposed to different vocabulary words. The connecting cubes will be used during math. Students need manipulatives so they can get a better understanding on how to add and subtract. The guided reading kit will be used by myself during our small group instruction time. The lamp will help brighten up our room, without having to turn on the overhead lights, and give our room more of the welcoming feeling. Lastly, our number chart will be used whole class, during our math block. All of these items will make a big difference in our classroom. They will be used every single day that our scholars are there. They will not only help our scholars be more excited to come to school, but they will help our scholars be where they need to be in their reading and mathematics.
