Students will be learning a variety of concepts in Spanish from music to history and grammar. I want to motivate them by giving them positive reinforcements like stickers when they get the answer correct. The bilingual books will help students become better readers. Alphabet flash cards will help them learn the phonics. My goal is to create a literacy center which students can use to reinforce skills in reading or language. Students will get in groups to practice the alphabet using the Spanish Alphabet flash cards. The colored pencils will be used to design their Día de Los Muertos skeleton. The storage cart will have verb practice items that they can use in the Literacy Center. All dry erase markers will be used in the Literacy Center when students will practice conjugating verbs. The calendar is used to teach what today is in Spanish. These materials will be used to make a literacy center to help my students learn the language and be successful. Many students don't know how to read in Spanish yet. Using a variety of books will help make them better readers.
