This camera will give my students the ability to see the scenes that they perform in. Once I film them they will be able to go back and watch themselves on the camera and will be able to have a conversation with me about how they feel they did. This was something that they have not had to opportunity to see. As an actor many students do not understand the mistakes that they are making on stage without a video of the performance. For the last three years I have videoed every performance on my cell phone and have tried to up load them on to my computer. This has never worked well and they have ended up watching the videos on my phone. As you can imagine this is hard as the image is small. I would love for them to not have to struggle to see themselves and to stop using my phone to video them. This would greatly improve my classroom.
