My 21 third graders attend a small school in a small town, but their ambition is tremendous! They like trying new innovative things, and they are extremely eager to learn! My students are quite diverse. I have some students who are fluent in math and reading, and some who require lots of support. Their learning styles are different, but one thing that they have in common is sheer determination to learn! They do a really great job of helping me help them, by telling me exactly what they think they might need. I have used their input, coupled with my own observations to search for resources that are right for them. I have five students in Resource and three in Speech. I cater to each of my students' diverse needs as best as possible. Our classroom technology center currently has only two student computers. I am glad that our class library is growing, but now there is not enough space for a math center.
