My students are in need of a wide variety of reading topics and levels. Variety and options for reading increases the chances for student interest to read and also making it fun! Reading and literacy need to be very important for students and I am trying to motivate them to read more with this expanded variety of topics and levels available. Getting some students to feel more comfortable reading every day when it is not the norm to pick up a book and read, while other students will need to be provided a more enriched set of books to widen their reading experience, expanding their vocabulary, as well as increasing their interest in reading. I am working to increase both parts of this equation.
