The Kindle Fire tablet provides many educational apps and games that will ignite an authentic enthusiasm for learning through technology. Incorporating the Kindle Fire tablet during our daily literacy and science block will support my students with differentiated instruction. Students will work in small group settings or independently to practice skills, research topics of interest, or access rich literature to create enthusiasm for high level engagement. The Kindle Fire will enable students ability to access materials that cover all curriculum areas: reading, math, social studies, science, and writing. Realizing that learning new skills and exploring topics of great interest is at their finger tips, that is a powerful thing and something I want my students to experience! Please help FIRE up my students by funding our project!
