iPads will allow my students time to explore communities, cultures and continents. This technology will allow independent learners to practice math concepts like time, algebraic thinking, geometric shapes and money. Struggling readers can work on basic phonics skills and download a read to me book. Advanced students will be able explore areas of individual interest. iPads will help my Bilingual learners continually translate difficult vocabulary as they transition from Spanish to English. Help me put iPads in my students' hands today, become part of building a better foundation for their tomorrow. In my classroom, I believe that each child is a unique individual with a distinctive learning style. iPads will allow my students more time independent learning time and give me additional small group time with my struggling learners.
