This year, our turn-around school is looking to make a huge impact on our students' lives! We believe every student deserves a quality education with high expectations. It's important that our high need students get every support that we can give them with the proper materials. This school has been not just on the journey to turn around the academic side of education but has been struggling to turn around the community as well. This means improving the building with new walls, new windows, new materials, and an even more welcoming atmosphere! We need a read-along listening center, lapboards, a laminating machine, a teaching easel and other supplies. My students will know that educators won't give up on them and believe in investing in their education. I want my students to know I am here to stay and here to fully invest in them. I want them to know they matter not only in a classroom but also in the community around them!
