Scholars will use these tablets to help improve their reading and literacy skills. I want my scholars to be kindergarten ready! With these tablets they will have access to a an abundant amount of resources and apps such as “abcmouse”, "SmartyAnts Reading World" in which I can use to track their academic progress and develop/strengthen literacy concepts such as letter recognition (uppercase and lowercase), letter sounds, and even sight words. "SmartyAnts Reading World," is not the only program that my students will be able to use. They will be able to strengthen and develop math skills through an app called, "Count Sort Match." In this program, children will learn how to count, how to correctly write the numbers, how to sort objects of different colors and to train their memory skills by matching cards through interactive games. There are also many other websites students can use such as "ABCya" and "Starfall".
