These materials will be used throughout every school day as we return to the classroom and learn while social distancing. Students will be given clipboards and yoga mats, or lap desks to space out amongst the room to provide ample space between each student. Additionally, these materials will be sanitized daily after student use. It is important to provide little learners with different seating options, as it can be difficult to stay stationary, seated at a table for extended amounts of time. It is proven that children need to be up and moving every thirteen minutes to keep the brain stimulated and ready to learn. By having these materials in our classroom, our students will have the freedom to move when necessary and maintain social distance between themselves and their classmates.
