My students need wall art, posters, Students spend eighty minutes in my classroom everyday. We all know that classroom environments greatly influence and impact student learning; why not give them exciting visual aids and posters to look at everyday they come in? My students are primarily visual learners and often need visual examples to help them understand abstract ideas. Also, they need to see the teacher represented in the classroom. Several of these posters promote ideas and concepts that I want them to take away that are not merely academic. I want them to think about being kind to others and think about the impact of their choices at this age. Visual aids enhance student learning by teaching students, inspiring students, motivating students, and informing students. These visual aids will all contribute to student learning in a positive and lasting way.
