Legos are a fantastic resource that allows students to express their creativity, boosts problem solving and teamwork skills, all while teaching my students how to perservere when something is challenging. My students need an opportunity to create something that they are proud of. Using Legos in the classroom will allow my students the opportunity to build their vision while working as a team, improve communication and have a sense of accomplishment when they are finished. The big smile they have when they finish their build and share it to the class, shows how proud they are and boosts their self-esteem!
