My preschool classes consist of very eager 3 and 4 year olds. My students come from a low-to-mid socio economic background. We are at a Title 1 school where more than half of the students qualify for free lunch. My students are very motivated students who are developing their social, language, and academic skills. 50% of my students are English language learners who are developing their English language skills and vocabulary. I have 3 assistants, who together with myself, create a great team in working with the students everyday to enhance and enrich their learning through the use of chants, visuals, hands-on activities, and dramatic play. I want to instill a love of learning in my students to make them life-long learners.
