Students will be using the iPads to help give them extra support in reading and math so they may be successful. My students do not always have the chance to use technology, and most homes do not have a computer. I want to give them every opportunity to reach their full potential. I plan on using the iPads in a center a few times a week, and for my lower performing students as a way of remediation. This project will give my students the extra help they need to improve reading and math skills. Not all of my students go home after school and get the help and support they need. For some students, school is the only place they practice reading. iPads will give my students access to newer and more exciting ways of learning. It will also keep them engaged in the learning process, and I love to see my students actively participating in my class.
