During “Morning Talk” we use dance for transition. They dance to videos on YouTube for brain breaks. My students ask me to get a TV and recorder so they can dance to "PulseTours" for real. My students need a functioning TV to be able to really interact with the, “Pulse Tours”. Dance is a total workout for the mind and body, as it helps improve your fitness, flexibility, motor skills, mental capacity, memory, and coordination. I believe children need daily exercise to help them keep their blood flowing to their brains, which will increase behavior and concentration. This is a fitness activity that can be used on rainy and cold days when we cannot go outside. This will ensure that my students get at least 60 minutes of recess daily.
