My 4th grade classroom does not have any computers that are accessible to students every day. We visit a computer lab once a week and have access to a school-wide computer cart, but that does not allow us the ability to have those "teachable moments" where we can learn what we need to learn, exactly when we need to learn it...we need devices in our classroom! With so much emphasis on STEM in our classroom, my 4th grade students are in need of exciting and interactive activities to reinforce our curriculum especially in the areas of Math and Science! My class is set up into 3 learning teams so each team will have a chance to use the iPad Learning Center a few times a day. There are online games that are associated with our curriculum that will be used as a supplement to our daily work. I also plan to use the iPads in science as we explore our world.
