My students are in a Dual Language program that is designed to help them develop into bilingual and biliterate students. The resources are not sufficient at my school despite the large Latinx population. The Authentic Spanish Language Collection- Grade 5 (20 Books) will help the students have access to books that will help them reach the programs goal. During my time as a teacher I have seen the positive impact of novel studies. However, I have not had the resourcess and having multiples of books at different reading levels will level my library and allow me to hold book clubs.
