It's no secret that today's students struggle with sitting still and focusing on school work. Flexible seating adds engagement, gives many options for meeting sensory needs, and allows students to maximize their potential in the classroom. I want my students to have the opportunity to learn and grow in the way that works best for them as individuals. By offering a variety of seating options, such as stability balls, seat cushions, comfy rugs, and alternative work areas, students feel empowered and motivated to perform in the classroom. Students will have opportunities to experiment with all of the types of flexible seating, and then choose what works best for them.

About my class
