My students need high interest and high quality non-fiction reading material that will build their reading stamina. Time for Kids is a weekly news magazine with colorful images and captivating articles. Time for kids will be used to support literacy skills and critical thinking. Additionally Time for Kids provides opportunities for our students to read about various themes, topics and current events and become motivated to read and learn about various topics which will engage them in critical thinking. Your generous donation to our project will enhance our students love for reading and learning by supporting their literacy instruction. Up until third grade students are learning to read, after that they are reading to learn. Our students need to read read read to learn. What better way to support them in their reading to learn about the world around them and be excited!
