Alternative seating provides students with the opportunity to chose to sit where they learn best. The pillows will allow students to sit or lie on the floor and use a clipboard to complete their work. The Wobble Chairs allow students the ability to move around, and this can help with their concentration. Improving student success in the classroom is my goal. It is my hope that the alternative seating and flexibility of choosing their best place or seat to learn will help improve their grades. Since everyone learns differently, everyone should have the chance to choose what seat works best for them. In the resource classroom, this can help build the confidence of struggling students. When they feel confident, their morale improves and their grades improve causing positive outcomes for everyone. Student success is what it's all about.
