"If used properly, flexible classrooms produce better academic outcomes among primary school children than more traditional, static classroom designs" (source: eductopia.org) Having flexible spaces will give my students the opportunity to choose where they learn, in turn making them more productive and engaged in their education. By having the Flex Space Comfy Floor Seats and Wobble Cushions my students will have the opportunity to move around the room and work with different students during various learning activities such as book clubs, science experiments, and math problems. My students will get great use out of the lap boards when conducting research and creating presentations using the school funded Chrome Books we share with our grade level team. I am excited for the possibility to provide my students with flexible spaces to increase student engagement and in turn have a positive impact on student learning.
