In our classroom, there are multiple students who do not speak English as their first language. There are times when certain concepts are more difficult for these students to grasp when they need that added support in their first language. This Amazon Fire tablet will give students direct access to examples of math strategies, translated words or phrases, visuals of concepts in science, etc. To build independence and their English vocabulary, students will use the QR reader to scan a particular word from our word wall and instantly access these supports.
